Expectations of Youth Development Coaches at Alloa FC. 

Role

To create an atmosphere where young players can express themselves and enjoy their football education. This will be achieved by mutual respect between players and coaching staff along with the high standard of teaching and coaching input by the coaches to the relevant age levels.

Provide a model pathway for learning and development of youth players such that the opportunity for quality players to sign for Alloa Athletic Football Club is achievable.

Responsibilities

         -      To provide necessary coaching at a high standard for groups under their control,

         -      To produce a bi monthly report (be it verbal or written) to the Head of Youth Development, covering all aspects re the development of the individual and a

                summary review of their own team. Any other relevant issues identified to be discussed accordingly.

         -      To evaluate the personnel based on the role, objectives identified in assessment compared with actual performance.

         -      To scout for new talent and assess existing talent at respective age levels by taking in appropriate games.

         -      Need to develop a positive relationship with parents/guardians of our youngsters within the development program.

         -      Develop and teach the young players to understand the benefits to be gained in a healthy lifestyle, diet, drug awareness, education and codes of

                 conduct.

         -      Select the team on match days.
